Unlocking potential for Bedworth’s future

Believe in Bedworth is a new initiative to support positive, long-term change in the town.

Pride in Place programme

Running from Collycroft to Keresley Village, and incorporating Bedworth town centre, the area is one of 75 in England that will benefit from phase 1 of central government’s ‘Pride in Place’ programme (formerly Plan for Neighbourhoods). People who live and work in Bedworth will see up to £20 million of investment over the next 10 years. But hopefully that’s just the start.

The funds will be managed by the Bedworth Neighbourhood Board, which comprises community groups, charities, politicians, the police and businesses operating in the area and is closely supported by Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council.

We believe the best future for our town will be shaped by the people and organisations who care deeply about it, and want to make positive change, together.

There are three goals of the programme, and money can be spent on a wide range of things aligned to these:

Taking Back Control

Our Vision & Plan

We spoke to hundreds of people who live, work and visit Bedworth in our survey which closed at the beginning of November 2025, the outcomes of which have been vital in developing our plans for how and where the £20 million funding should be allocated.

Local charity Warwickshire and Solihull Community and Voluntary Action were asked to undertake the engagement with the community. The initial survey is now closed, but we will be communicating and asking for feedback as soon as the project goes live in 2026.
