Representatives from Believe in Bedworth recently attended the Kind Communities, Kind Food event held in Keresley Village. During the visit, the team spoke with local residents and took a walk around the village to better understand the community and its needs.
The event brought together a range of organisations, including Citizens Advice, Healthwatch, and Warwickshire County Council, all offering support and information to attendees. As part of the day, free air fryers and slow cookers were distributed to residents.
There were also two engaging cooking demonstrations, including one led by young people, whose sweet and sour dish proved especially delicious and well received. A couple of potential projects were discussed with the residents association and residents so watch this space!
