Armed Forces Day 2026!!
A huge thank you to everyone who supported, organised and helped make the day a success.
Special thanks to Mayor Cllr Colin Cape for his support and to Paul Gough, our Town Crier, for doing a fabulous job throughout the day.
A big thank you to Julie from Julie Bromage Dance Academy for managing the PA system all day and for her amazing dancers! Thanks also to the incredible Nepalese dancers, the Sil lum Kune demonstration, the girls from the Nicholas Chamberlaine School Choir, and last but not least, The Band of the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers (Warwickshire) for their wonderful performances.
Thank you to the Armistice Committee, the Civic Hall, the Royal British Legion, the Veteran Contact Point, all our volunteers, and special thanks to Stuart Macleod community photographer, for capturing the day so well.
Most of all, thank you to everyone who came along and supported the event. We look forward to making it even bigger and better next year!
